Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking several HVAC Technicians for an industrial paint specialist in Chattanooga, TN. This is a temporary-to-hire contractor position with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour and a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities include inspecting HVAC/R systems, maintaining HVAC/R equipment, performing preventive maintenance, changing rooftop filters, responding to repairs, and documenting all work while following OSHA and EPA safety standards.

Qualifications

• EPA certification to work on industrial HVAC systems.
• Experience with HVAC systems in an industrial plant.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R equipment and refrigerant regulations.
• Work in extreme temperatures, confined spaces, and lift heavy equipment.
• Drug screen and background check required.

• Maintain air-conditioning, heating, ventilation and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct monthly preventive maintenance throughout the facility.
• Change rooftop filters per facility schedules.
• Respond to service calls for repairs promptly.

HVAC TECHNICIAN

Automation Personnel Services is seeking several HVAC Technicians for an industrial paint specialist in Chattanooga, TN.This is a company specializing in all aspects of paint and janitorial manufacturing.This is an outstanding temporary-to-hire contractor position.

Pay Rate(s):

$25.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm

HVAC Technician Duties and Responsibilities

• InspectHVAC/R systems, controls and components, computerized electrical circuits and systems, including Freon levels
• Maintainair-conditioning, heating, ventilation and refrigerated cooling, commercial mechanical and electrical systems
• Conduct all monthly preventive maintenancethroughout the facility
• Change rooftop filters per facility schedules
• Respond to service calls for repairs in a timely manner
• Properly document all work conducted
• Adhere to safety standards (OSHA) and environmental regulations (EPA)

HVAC Technician Qualifications and Requirements

• EPA certification- licensed to work on industrial HVAC systems
• Must have experience working with HVAC systems in an industrial plant to be considered for this position.
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of HVAC/R equipment and troubleshooting techniques, environmental regulations for refrigerants for City, State and EPA regulations.
• Work in extreme temperatures, confined spaces, and lift heavy equipment.(In-office assessment will be conducted for 50lbs)
• Drug screen and background check required
