One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Technician for servicing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and technical competence.

Job Summary

This position performs service, repair, and maintenance on HVAC systems in a residential and light commercial setting.

Job Duties

• Services, maintains, and repairs residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Knowledge of the fundamental of operational functionality of residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment
• Determines general condition of HVAC systems, troubleshoots HVAC malfunctions and determines extent of necessary repairs
• Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job
• Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
• Wears floor savers while in the client’s home
• Maintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside
• Participates in all company sponsored training classes

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior successful experience as a Technician in the HVAC industry
• NATE certification preferred not required
• Strong communication skills and technical competence
• Clean driving record
