Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our Auburn Hills, MI team. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of HVAC systems for residential and commercial properties, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have 5+ years of applicable experience and strong knowledge of controls, chillers, boilers, and cooling systems. We value problem solvers who can communicate complex technical information clearly and work well

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role in the engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems (A/C, heating, refrigeration, ventilation).
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC controls and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with chillers, boilers, and cooling systems installation/repair.
  • Excellent customer service with ability to explain technical information clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
  • Professional HVAC certification preferred.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.

Salary: $34 - $40 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, refrigeration units, and boilers to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent potential failures and extend their lifespan.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, identify the root cause, and provide effective and efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and install HVAC systems for new construction projects, ensuring they meet all safety and performance standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering client queries and explaining technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies and industry trends, and continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
