Job summary

Mennonite Village is seeking an HVAC Technician to join our facilities team. You will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across our campus, ensuring comfort and safety for residents.

You’ll monitor performance, improve efficiency, and support documentation of inspections, maintenance, and warranties. Requires HVAC certification, EPA 608, and 3+ years in commercial HVAC maintenance; Oregon driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification is required.
• EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification required.
• Three years of commercial HVAC maintenance and repair experience.
• Five years in building maintenance, construction trades, or related field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and install heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems.
• Monitor HVAC system performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Inspect boilers, furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, mini-split systems, exhaust systems, and ventilation equipment as applicable.
• Assist in maintaining documentation related to inspections, preventative maintenance schedules, equipment warranties, permits, and repair histories.

What You’ll Do.

• Maintain, repair, and install heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems

Pay Range: $29.00 - $41.75 per hour depending on experience

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• HVAC certification
• EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification
• Three (3) years of commercial HVAC maintenance and repair experience
• Five (5) years of experience in building maintenance, construction trades, or related field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and construction documents
• Valid Oregon Driver's License
• Ability to obtain and maintain any certifications required by state or local regulations
