Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain critical HVAC infrastructure at our Coralville, IA site. This on-site role reports to the Manager of Facilities and supports production operations with reliable climate control and system integrity.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a universal refrigeration license (or willingness to obtain), and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 10% and lifting up to 50 lb are expected as part of daily duties.

The HVAC Tech. is responsible for maintaining critical HVAC infrastructure to ensure proper operations in support of all production operations.

This position reports to the Manager of Facilities and is part of the Facilities team located in Coralville IA and will be an on-site weekdays days position.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Maintains central HVAC distribution systems, as well as other systems
• Inspect work to ensure proper installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Record and update maintenance management system upon completion of work.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• High school diploma/GED or relevant experience required.
• Universal license for refrigeration, or willingness to obtain

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lb, any other physical requirements

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Industrial HVAC, geothermal systems and BAS controls.
• Experience in refrigerator and freezer repairs.
