Job summary

HVAC RNTL seeks an HVAC Shop Technician to perform depot maintenance, equipment preparation, cleaning, and testing under leadership. The role ensures readiness, reliability, and cleanliness of rental equipment prior to deployment in a shop/depot setting.

May assist with loading, unloading, and yard organization. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, adhere to safety standards, and communicate equipment concerns to a supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation to depot location.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn HVAC rental equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic testing of rental equipment.
• Prepare cooling equipment for customer deployment.
• Clean and maintain condensers and water-cooled chillers.
• Assist with depot organization and yard management.
• Support inventory tracking and equipment staging.
• Assist with loading/unloading equipment as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
• Complete maintenance documentation and checklists.
