Responsibilities include reading blueprints, selecting materials, using appropriate tools, and maintaining a safe workspace while complying with project timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and completion of an apprenticeship or training program.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand product assignment.
• Capability to operate sheet metal machinery safely and follow directions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut and weld pieces according to specifications or blueprints.
• Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions.
• Connect pieces and secure seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or fasteners.
• Use machinery and software applications to complete jobs and install fabricated materials on site.
• Maintain a clean, orderly workspace and assist with material delivery to jobsites.
• Lift up to 25 pounds regularly and work on scaffolding/overhead structures as needed.
