Job summary

VIP Staffing is seeking HVAC/Sheet Metal Helpers and Mechanics for large commercial construction projects in San Antonio. Shifts are Mon–Fri starting at 6:30am with 8–10 hour days. Helpers earn up to $22/hr and Mechanics up to $25/hr, with a scalable pay rate.

Responsibilities include running sheet metal duct for HVAC on commercial sites, reading blueprints, fabricating and assembling sheet metal components, and coordinating with other trades to ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience running sheet metal duct work.
• Commercial construction experience.
• Must have own tools for HVAC/Sheet Metal work.

Job description

Currently seeking HVAC/Sheet Metal Helpers and Mechanics for large commercial construction projects throughout in San Antonio.

Shift is Mon - Fri starting at 6:30am with 8–10-hour shifts depending on project needs.

Helper Pay is up to $22/hr. depending on experience.

Mechanics Pay is up to $25/hr. & scale.

HVAC/Sheet Metal Responsibilities:

• Working on a commercial construction job site.
• New construction projects from ground up.
• Will be running sheet metal duct for HVAC on commercial sites.
• Install, repair, and maintain sheet metal components and systems in commercial buildings.
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products on site according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Measure, cut, shape, and bend sheet metal using hand tools and power equipment.
• Install HVAC/Sheet Metal ductwork, vents, and other related components.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient completion of projects.

Requirements:

• Need to have a minimum of 3 years of experience running sheet metal duct work.
• Must have previous sheet metal experience in commercial construction.
• Need to have all the necessary tools for HVAC/Sheet Metal work on commercial construction.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to work on multiple projects throughout San Antonio.
• Reliable transportation required.
