Murray Company’s Northern California division is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to provide and coordinate estimating services for HVAC pipe and sheet metal projects. The role emphasizes accuracy, thoroughness, profitability, and collaboration with general contractors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in estimating self-performing mechanical piping projects.
• Proficiency in estimating software (FastPIPE / FastDUCT, Trimble Autobid, Bluebeam, QuickPen).
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Regularly contact Pre-Construction with General Contractors to identify opportunities.
• Evaluate opportunities to ensure project margins align with business plan.
• Review plans, P&ID's, specs and contracts before estimating to identify impacts.
