Restivo's Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our Johnston team. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Excellent diagnostic skills, EPA certification, and a clean driving record are required. You will work independently while collaborating with sales and leadership to provide accurate assessments and informed upgrade recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HVAC service experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• EPA certification required; NATE certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with HVAC diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and customer-first attitude.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair residential HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to detect efficiency issues, safety concerns, and potential upgrade or replacement opportunities.
• Provide clear and honest assessments to homeowners regarding necessary repairs, upgrades, IAQ products, and new system options.
• Inform customers about system performance, energy efficiency, and available comfort solutions.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks to maintain optimal system operation and efficiency.
• Install, replace, and upgrade HVAC components as required.
• Test electrical circuits and components to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Accurately document all work performed, including recommendations and outcomes.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards during all service calls.
• Work closely with sales and leadership teams to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
