Job summary

Action AC is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating, cooling, and indoor air quality systems across San Diego County. You’ll troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, recommend solutions, and ensure safe, code-compliant work.

Work independently in the field while collaborating closely with dispatch and teammates.

Qualifications

• Residential and light commercial HVAC experience required.
• Ability to diagnose and repair heating, cooling and IAQ systems.
• Strong commitment to safety and code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in customers' homes and small businesses.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions to customers.
