Job summary

Lane Valente Industries is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to service and maintain equipment for national accounts. You will diagnose, repair, and preventively maintain systems, perform site surveys, and coordinate on-site work alongside a field team.

Qualifications

• HVAC service knowledge and repair skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or engineering specs.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and perform on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose and repair units using hand-tools following blueprints or specs.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as requested.
• Prepare for on-site installation by examining layout, gathering materials, and coordinating work.
• Inspect vehicles and maintain records of service and repairs.
• Maintain equipment by inspecting wear and notifying the Operations Manager.
• Document work by completing daily paperwork and filing records.
• Serve as a direct customer contact and determine parts to order.
• Record parts, materials, labor, and costs and submit reports on time.
• Stay current on products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
• Provide technical support to customers and flexibly work overtime/weekends as needed.
• Travel regularly with some overnight stays as required.
