Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an HVAC Technician to diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems. The role requires using basic hand tools, battery-powered tools, and phone apps, with documentation of service calls and clear communication between administration and customers.

You will inspect and diagnose split systems, package units, wall units, and mini-splits; perform repairs or replacements, installations, and regular maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in the HVAC industry (Service / Troubleshooting).
• Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a variety of environments.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
• Clean driving record.

HVAC technicians will perform diagnosis and repairs on residential HVAC systems. This position requires the ability to use basic hand tools, battery powered tools, and phone applications. We record documentation of service performed on each service call which requires the ability to communicate between administration and customers to ensure basic fundamentals are maintained. Technician will work in elements of winter and summer conditions and will have the responsibility to maintain inventory of company provided tools, phone, materials, and vehicles.

The technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Inspecting and diagnosing split systems, package units, wall units, mini-splits, etc.


• Repairing and/or replacing components


• Installing new HVAC systems


• Maintenance/tune-ups


• Providing customer service

The technician must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to work in a variety of environments, including residential and commercial settings. The technician must also be able to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
