One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning of Johnson County is seeking a residential HVAC technician to service, repair and maintain heating and air conditioning systems throughout Johnson County and nearby communities. The role emphasizes customer education, safety, and professional presentation within a local, second-generation family-owned business.

The position offers year-round work with a reputable pay range of $25-$35 per hour and potential earnings up to $110,000, plus comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years HVAC technician experience preferred.
• EPA Core and Type II certification required.
• Strong communication and technical skills.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems.
• Evaluate conditions across many ages and manufacturers.
• Diagnose HVAC failures and determine needed repairs.
• Educate homeowners on repair and replacement options.
• Present financing options.
• Navigate ServiceTitan to present invoices and estimates on an iPad.
• Learn and follow One Hour sales system and ethics.
• Keep a neat work area and clean after completion.
• Maintain safe, respectful attitude in clients' homes.
• Maintain company vehicle and keep it clean.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
