Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair residential and commercial systems. You will handle diagnostics, installations, and routine service, ensuring safety and compliance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, EPA 608 certification, 2+ years of field experience, a clean driver’s license, and strong communication for customer interactions. The role includes on-call rotation and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA 608 HVAC certification required.
• 2+ years of field experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Familiarity with HVAC tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
• Install new HVAC systems and retrofit existing systems when needed.
• Test and calibrate HVAC systems for proper functionality.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, options, and system care.
• Complete work orders, service reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Comply with all local HVAC codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain tools and inventory in service vehicle.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours service requests.
