Job summary

Action AC is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our Winchester team. You will perform high-quality installations, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on residential and light commercial systems, ensuring safety and code compliance.

Require 3+ years hands-on experience, EPA Universal Certification, and a clean driving record; strong troubleshooting, reading schematics, and customer communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in residential/commercial HVAC installation or service.
• EPA Universal Certification required; NATE certification or state Journeyman license is a strong plus.
• Strong reading of schematics/blueprints and ability to troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service a wide variety of residential HVAC systems.
• Perform system installations, replacements, and upgrades adhering to local codes and company standards.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance checks and tune-ups.
• Explain technical issues and recommended solutions clearly to customers.
• Maintain service records and inventory on the company vehicle.
• Keep a clean, safe, and professional work environment on all job sites.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform high-quality installations, diagnostic troubleshooting, repairs, and scheduled maintenance for residential and commercial heating and cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service a wide variety of residential HVAC systems.

• Perform system installations, replacements, and upgrades adhering to local building codes and company standards.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance checks and tune-ups.

• Clearly explain technical issues and recommended solutions to customers, offering honest guidance and recommendations.

• Maintain accurate service records, job notes, and inventory levels on your assigned company vehicle.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment on all job sites.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in residential/commercial HVAC installation or service.

• Certifications: EPA Universal Certification required; NATE certification or state Journeyman license is a strong plus.

• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to read schematics/blueprints.

• Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Soft Skills: Outstanding communication skills, strong work ethic, and a customer-first mindset.
