Cool Rays AC in Cocoa, FL is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential systems across the Space Coast area. You will handle diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installation support while communicating clearly with customers and ensuring safety and accuracy in all tasks.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of technician experience, a clean driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of HVAC technician experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Must pass background and drug screening.
• Power tools proficiency needed.
• OSHA PPE compliance.
• Ability to work in varied construction environments (heat, cold, wet, dry).
• Complete assigned tasks within company timeframes.

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems throughout the Space Coast area.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnosis and Repair

• Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments of HVAC systems to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements
• Perform repairs efficiently and accurately to restore proper functioning of air conditioning units

Maintenance Services

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting components of HVAC systems to ensure peak performance and efficiency

Installation Support

• Assist with the installation of new HVAC systems, including handling equipment, running ductwork, and connecting electrical components, under the guidance of senior technicians

Customer Interaction

• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing explanations of services performed and recommendations for optimal HVAC system performance
• Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and effectively

Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including work orders, service reports, and inventory usage
• Complete paperwork and documentation in a timely and organized manner

Safety Compliance

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Follow safety guidelines for handling HVAC equipment, tools, and materials
