Job summary

Ideal Comfort Inc in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, service, maintain or repair heating and air conditioning systems in residences or commercial establishments.

You will diagnose, repair, and service HVAC systems, establish strong customer rapport, test joints for leaks, and verify electrical continuity. The role requires climbing, lifting up to 40 pounds and working in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• MUST have at least 5 years HVAC service technician experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• EPA Certification required.
• Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems.
• Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds.
• Able to work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair or service HVAC systems to improve efficiency (e.g., changing filters, cleaning ducts, refrigerant recharge).
• Establish customer rapport to ensure satisfaction.
• Test pipe or tubing joints for leaks using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution.
• Test electrical circuits or components for continuity.
• Repair or replace defective equipment or wiring.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will install, service, maintain or repair heating and air conditioning systems in residences or commercial establishments.

Responsibilities:

• Correctly diagnose, repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or recharge non-toxic refrigerants (as needed)
• Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction
• Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution
• Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring

Qualifications:

• MUST have at least FIVE (5) years experience as an HVAC service technician. Do Not apply if this qualification is not satisfied.
• Valid Drivers License
• EPA Certification
• Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems
• Ability to safely climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
• Able to work in confined spaces
