Job summary

Keefe-HVAC, an industrious HVAC service provider in Chicagoland, seeks an experienced service technician to join the team. The role offers competitive hourly pay and a generous signing incentive, plus health, vision, and dental insurance.

You’ll work across a range of systems and gain opportunities for advancement. You will diagnose, repair, and document service calls while keeping vehicles, tools, and records organized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years HVAC service experience.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong diagnostic skills across heating and cooling systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including AC, furnaces, boilers and heat pumps.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and system performance issues.
• Explain problems and recommended repairs clearly to customers.
• Complete service records accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked service vehicle.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair a range of HVAC systems — AC systems, furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and more


• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and system performance issues


• Explain problems and recommended repairs clearly to customers


• Complete service records accurately


• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service vehicle

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of HVAC service experience


• EPA 608 Certification


• Valid driver's license and clean driving record


• Solid diagnostic skills across heating and cooling systems


• Strong customer service and communication skills

What we offer

• $28.00–$40.00/hour, based on experience
