Job summary

Polk Air Conditioning & Heating Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician in Florida.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems, providing exceptional customer service and educating homeowners on efficiency and options. This role requires a minimum of 3 years’ HVAC service experience, a valid Florida driver’s license, EPA Type II or Universal certification (preferred), and owning professional HVAC tools.

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• EPA Certification—Type II or Universal preferred.
• Clean, valid Florida Driver’s License—REQUIRED.
• Own professional-quality HVAC tools and know how to use them.
• Dependable, motivated, and ready to work—REQUIRED.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Team player who respects the customer, coworkers—REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional maintenance and system tune-ups.

• Identify opportunities for system upgrades, IAQ, maintenance, and other comfort solutions.
• Accurately document service calls using digital tools.
• Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and industry standards.
• Represent Polk Air professionally in customers’ homes and throughout the community.
