Job summary

A growing HVAC service company in Charlottesville, VA is seeking an HVAC Service Technician with excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include cleaning, adjusting, and repairing HVAC systems, as well as performing preventative maintenance and emergency repairs. Candidates must have a NATE Certification, a Journeymen or Masters Card, and at least 3 years of experience. The position offers a take-home work van, health and retirement plans, and paid education and training.

HVAC Service Technician Responsibilities: Residential / Light Commercial

• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing HVAC systems, and performing warranty services.
• Troubleshooting HVAC systems and equipment to make diagnoses.
• Performing preventative maintenance by cleaning coils and air handling units, and monitoring and calibrating air handling units.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keeping daily logs and records of calls using our dispatch program and iPad.
• Maintaining service truck (Take home truck)
• Get dispatched from your house no need to come to shop every day, unless load up is needed
• Positive attitude, clean and neat personal presentation.
• Exceptional customer service skills

Teamwork responsibilities

• Participation in team meetings and trainings

Preferred Licensing and Qualifications

• NATE Certified
