Job summary

Mountain Heating and Cooling in Bozeman, MT is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to service, maintain and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems, with some light commercial work.

You will educate customers on options, read wiring diagrams, and coordinate with the service manager on parts and training. We offer strong benefits, pay 35–45 per hour, and a take-home vehicle with gas card.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HVAC service experience.
• Residential service experience required.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Ability to recommend repairs and replacements.
• Low voltage license or willingness to acquire within 2 years.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate of completion from HVAC Technical School is desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver service, maintenance, and repair on residential and some light commercial heating and air conditioning systems.
• Consult with customers regarding repair and replacement options; replacement needs forwarded to the Comfort Advisor/Salesperson.
• Educating clients on indoor air quality products that fit customers' needs.
• Communicating with the service manager about product needs, training enhancement, or desired specialty training.

HVAC Service Technician

Pay Range: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour, depending on experience + spiffs

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:30am to 4:30pm

What You Will Be Doing:

• Delivering Excellent Customer Experiences by providing service, maintenance, and repair on primarily residential and some light commercial heating and air conditioning systems
• Consulting with customers regarding repair and replacement options; Replacement needs are forwarded to the Comfort Advisor/Salesperson
• Educating clients on indoor air quality products that fit customers' needs
• Communicating with the service manager about product needs, training enhancement, or desired specialty training

What We Are Looking For:

• 2 + years of HVAC service experience
• Residential Service experience required
• EPA Universal Certification
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Experience making repair and replacement recommendations
• Low voltage license or commitment to acquire within 2 years of employment
• Advanced customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Certificate of completion from an HVAC Technical School is desired
