Job Summary

Centerline has an HVAC Technician opening located in the service area surrounding Worcester, MA. We are looking for a highly motivated and hardworking individual to join a fast-growing company specializing in wireless communications and facility services across the country. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and cooling units for our commercial customers, including diagnosing and repairing electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.

What Will You Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation systems at mission-critical sites.
• Identify repair and replacement needs.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Travel, including some overnight stays.
• Possess EPA Universal certification (preferred).
• Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
• Perform general maintenance duties as required.
• Work independently, ensuring tasks are done correctly the first time.
• Maintain excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize basic computer skills and mobile devices during work.

What You Will Need

• At least 5 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• High School Diploma or Associates Degree.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• HVAC Journeyman, E02, and EPA Universal certifications (preferred).
• Ability to diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Willingness to travel to job sites within the service area.
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment.
• Document installed equipment and service issues thoroughly.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Observe safety rules and procedures.

Travel

• Travel to sites, sometimes over 100 miles away.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Work Environment

• Physical demands include walking, lifting up to 51 pounds, working at heights, in small spaces, and in all weather conditions.
