Job summary

Comfort Systems USA (southeast), Inc. is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of commercial systems in a defined service area.

You will handle split systems, rooftops, and chillers, using electrical and mechanical diagnostics to ensure optimal performance. The role requires strong problem-solving, customer service, and safety awareness, with OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with chilled water or boiler systems preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification (provider if needed).

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting tasks safely in commercial/industrial settings.
• Service, diagnose, and troubleshoot split systems, packaged rooftops, and chillers.
• Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of commercial HVAC equipment as needed.
• Complete required electronic documentation daily on a handheld device.
• Work independently to complete tasks within the allotted time.
• Operate company vehicle to complete service calls in a specified territory.

• Wage Range Starting at: $30.00+/hr. based on qualifications & experience

Job Duties

• Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting task safely in commercial and industrial settings
• Service, diagnose and troubleshoot various types of split systems, packaged rooftop, and chillers
• Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC equipment as needed
• Complete required electronic documentation daily on a handheld device
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frame
• Operate company vehicle to complete service calls in a specified territory

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience repairing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communication and customer service skills
• Experience with chilled water or boiler systems preferred
• OSHA 10 certification (the company will provide if needed)

• Ability to pass a full background screening, MVR and drug screening
• Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
