Job summary

A. J. Perri Plumbing, Heating, Cooling is hiring HVAC Service Technicians in New Jersey for residential heating and air conditioning service, repair, and maintenance. You will diagnose systems, perform repairs, and advise homeowners on optimal solutions.

Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years of residential HVAC experience, EPA certification or ability to obtain, and a valid driver’s license. NJ-based role with potential for overtime and commissions based on performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to access attics/crawlspaces and lift heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose residential HVAC systems (furnaces, heat pumps, AC).
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and service calls.
• Identify issues and recommend heating/cooling solutions.
• Ensure work meets company standards and local code requirements.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about performance and repairs.

This role supports homeowners by providing reliable HVAC repair, maintenance, and system diagnostics.

• Deliver professional customer service while completing HVAC service and repair work

Qualifications

• 3 years of residential HVAC experience
