Air Flows Chicago is seeking an HVAC Service & Installation Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential and light commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have EPA certification (or the ability to obtain), a valid driver's license, strong troubleshooting and customer service skills, and the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• HVAC installation and service experience preferred.
• EPA Certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and other challenging environments.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and recommend necessary repairs or system upgrades.
• Diagnose HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions.
• Install ductwork, thermostats, ventilation systems, and related components.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local building codes and company standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and customer documentation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding services performed and recommendations.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Air Flows Chicago is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Service & Installation Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
