Job summary

Main-Care Energy in New York's service area is seeking career-minded, full-time HVAC service/installation technicians for residential and light commercial work across five locations. This employee-owned company provides ongoing training and a supportive team environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair heating, cooling, and water heating systems, and install HVAC equipment. Some overtime is necessary; benefits include ESOP, health, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience in service and installations preferred, willing to train
• Great attitude
• Clean driving record
• Propane CETP certification a plus
• Great communication skills
• EPA Certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform annual preventative maintenance checks and tune-ups
• Diagnose and repair service issues with oil, propane, and natural gas-fired heating and water-heating equipment
• Diagnose and repair service issues with central A/C and mini-split systems
• Perform HVAC system installations
• Perform Tank Sure warranty tank testing
• Keep company vehicle and customer’s work area clean and safe
• Some overtime is necessary (occasional nights/weekends)
