Job summary

The Rhode Island Commerce is seeking a Warehouse / Delivery Driver to support daily warehouse operations and safely delivering HVAC and roofing materials to customer locations and branch facilities throughout the Tri-State area. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a customer-focused attitude in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities include pulling and staging orders, loading/unloading, receiving stock, staging for next-day deliveries,

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to operate DOT-regulated and non-CDL box trucks.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Prior warehouse, delivery, or building materials experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse and outdoor conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and verify customer orders for pickup and delivery.
• Assist loading/unloading materials for customers and vendors.
• Receive, stock, and inspect incoming inventory.
• Prepare materials for next-day deliveries.
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Complete shipping/receiving documentation and signatures.
• Deliver HVAC and roofing materials to customer sites and branches.
• Ensure loads are secured and comply with DOT regulations.
