Job summary

Corman & Sons Air Conditioning in New York is seeking an experienced HVAC Retail Installer to install, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems on residential and commercial sites. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring safe, compliant installations.

Qualifications

• EPA certification is required to perform HVAC installations.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Power tool proficiency and safe handling.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
• HVAC systems knowledge and schematic interpretation.

• Install refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and piping components per specifications

• Maintain clean, organized work areas

Key Responsibilities

• Install ductwork (supply and return ducts) with proper sizing, placement, and sealing


• Install refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and piping components per specifications


• Mount and secure HVAC equipment ensuring proper alignment and clearances


• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics


• Coordinate with other tradespeople on construction sites


• Maintain clean, organized work areas


• Adhere to safety regulations and building codes

Requirements

• Minimum one year HVAC installation experience with EPA certification


• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR report


• Power tool proficiency


• Ability to pass drug screening and background check


• Physical capability to lift 50+ pounds, climb, stand, and kneel


• Proper personal protection equipment usage


• HVAC systems and components knowledge


• Blueprint and schematic interpretation skills


• Basic electrical and plumbing systems understanding
