Tremco is seeking a Design Engineer to assess project requirements, gather field data, determine design needs, select equipment, and draft HVAC restoration project documents. This role blends engineering and drafting expertise to ensure projects are planned and constructed effectively.

The position requires AutoCAD drafting, 5+ years of industry experience, EI certification with the potential to obtain a PE license, and willingness to travel up to 50% to support on-site assessments and project

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of industry-specific experience.
• Experience with construction drafting in AutoCAD.
• EI certification with the ability to obtain a PE license preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite knowledge preferred.
• Experience with a programming language (VBA, C#, etc.) preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms (Pro-Core, E-Builder, iAuditor, etc.) preferred.
• Ability to travel out of state up to 50% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Assess project requirements and gather field data.
• Draft construction documents and specifications for HVAC restoration.
• Coordinate with owner/facility staff on scope and design.
• Utilize estimating tools to assist project budgets.
• Support sales with scope reviews and insights.
• Ensure smooth transition from design to execution.
• Provide technical guidance during and after construction.
