Nextech is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial systems, delivering high-quality service and reliable solutions. You will perform installations, preventive maintenance, and after-hours support as needed to keep client systems running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on expertise, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work from a company vehicle, with clear documentation via iPads and direct communication with clients for optimal scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician.
• EPA certification and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans.
• Comfort with mobile apps and technology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
• Perform maintenance and emergency service, including after-hours on-call rotations.
• Accurately document all service details using company-provided devices.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and parts inventory.
• Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Nextech HVAC/R Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering reliable, high-quality service to commercial clients. From troubleshooting to repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance — you’re the expert our customers trust.

Min Compensation

USD $35.00/Hr.

Max Compensation

USD $40.00/Hr.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician
• EPA certification and a valid driver’s license
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans
• Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active role. You should be able to:

• Must be able to safely work at heights using ladders up to 28–32 feet and operate equipment within manufacturer weight limits
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver tools and equipment, including extension ladders, up to 100 lbs
• Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach into confined spaces, and perform twisting, pushing, and pulling tasks
• Must maintain physical stamina and endurance for repetitive tasks and extended activity
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders throughout the day
• Must use vision, hearing, and verbal communication continuously
• Must operate work-related equipment such as iPads, cell phones, and computers
• Must be able to travel to customer sites as needed
• Required to occasionally work in an office environment
• Required to follow all applicable safety procedures
