Job summary

Wake Technical Community College seeks an Instructor Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration to provide effective instruction for assigned courses at various Wake Tech Campus Locations. The position is full-time (FLSA exempt) with a 40-hour work week and a salary range of $69,012.00 - $75,912.00 annually plus benefits.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate degree in Heating & Cooling Technology, Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration with three years of field experience, or

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Heating & Cooling Technology, Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration and three years of field experience.
• OR H1, H2, H3, or Commercial Refrigeration State Contractor’s License and five years of field experience.
• Unofficial transcripts must be attached with your online application prior to submission or submitted to Human Resources immediately upon completing the application.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and guides the class in an efficient and effective manner
• Maintains accurate records of student work and attendance
• Prepares thoroughly for each instructional hour
• Maintains a safe and orderly learning environment
• Counsels students regarding their grades and progress in the course
• Attends professional development opportunities when possible
• Assists with curriculum design and contributes to course activities
