Job summary

Nextech, the leading HVAC/R service provider in the United States, is hiring an HVAC/R Technician. You’ll diagnose, repair, install and maintain systems for commercial clients, with on-call rotations and mobile tech.

This role offers a sign-on bonus up to $3,000, a company vehicle with gas card, paid training, benefits, and opportunities for certification support. Travel to customer sites and high standards of safety are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• EPA certification and a valid driver's license are required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent HVAC/R field technician experience.
• May require Journeyman's License in some states.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems in commercial settings.
• Perform maintenance and emergency service, including after-hours on-call.
• Document service details using company-provided devices.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and parts inventory.
• Communicate with customers and dispatch for scheduling.
• Identify additional service opportunities for customers.
