Job summary

CoolSys is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to repair and maintain a range of commercial systems, including air conditioning, boilers, refrigeration units, ice machines, and walk-ins. This role emphasizes hands-on problem solving and safety.

We offer competitive pay ($25–$50/hr), up to $7,500 sign-on, paid training, and comprehensive benefits. Based in the Kansas City, MO area, EPA certification and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience.
• Active EPA Certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Work on systems including air conditioning, electric motors, boilers, ice machines, walk-in coolers/freezers, and related units.
