Job summary

Nextech is seeking a motivated HVAC/R Technician to deliver reliable, high-quality service to commercial clients. From troubleshooting to repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance, you are the expert our customers trust.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing HVAC/R systems, performing maintenance, documenting service details on iPads, and maintaining vehicles and inventory. The role requires strong diagnostic skills, EPA certification, and the ability to read schematics,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of HVAC/R field experience.
Journeyman license may be required in some states.
EPA certification and a valid driver’s license.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans.
Comfort with mobile apps and technology.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems including electrical and mechanical components.
Perform maintenance and emergency service, including after-hours rotations.
Document all service details using company-provided iPads.
Maintain vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to high standards.
Communicate with customers and dispatch for scheduling and service delivery.
Identify additional service opportunities and discuss with customers.
