Job summary

QuikTrip is seeking an Equipment Technician for our Naperville, IL area stores to maintain and repair a range of equipment including refrigeration units, restrooms, fuel pumps, and kitchen equipment.

You will perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC-R repairs, and troubleshoot issues while handling higher priority calls. Flexible hours including nights and weekends are included.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working on refrigeration systems.
• EPA Type II certification (or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Highschool Diploma or GED.
• Training in refrigeration or completion of an apprenticeship.
• Skills in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electronics.
• Ability to fix and troubleshoot different types of equipment.
• Good at organizing your work and solving problems.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair refrigeration units, commercial kitchen equipment, restrooms, fuel pumps, and roller grills.
• Perform carpentry, low voltage electrical work, plumbing, painting, and electronics tasks.
• Handle higher priority calls and ensure issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
