Job summary

VILLAGE SQUARE is seeking a dual-skilled HVAC and General Property Maintenance Technician to support multi-family residential properties. You will maintain HVAC systems, perform plumbing/electrical/carpentry tasks, and keep properties safe, functional, and visually appealing.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, on-call support, and coordinating with property management. A high school diploma and HVAC certification are required, with strong knowledge of building systems and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification is required.
• Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and general property maintenance.
• Strong understanding of building systems and repair techniques.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces and AC.
• Perform preventive maintenance and replace components per specs.
• Respond to maintenance requests and diagnose issues with tools.
• Install new HVAC systems adhering to codes and regulations.
• Conduct plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Maintain records of repairs and inspections in CMMS.
• Keep grounds and property exterior maintained; handle landscaping tasks.
• Communicate with management and tenants about maintenance updates.
