Job summary

You will partner with the project team to define scope, review data and drawings, and develop cost estimates while coordinating subcontractor outreach and pre-bid activities. Strong communication with field teams and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of basic engineering, electricity, mechanical HVAC systems, and building construction industry.
• Ability to communicate with and direct subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Translate project concepts into HVAC system solutions using Trane products and controls.
• Partner with project team to define scope and translate concepts into actionable work.
• Gather and evaluate project data, drawings, specifications, and existing site conditions to develop project scopes and cost estimates.
• Analyze field conditions to identify potential scope gaps, constructability issues, conflicts, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead or support pre-bid meetings with project teams and subcontractors.
• Coordinate subcontractor outreach, pricing, and qualification efforts.
• Support decisions related to outsourced engineering needs and collaborate with operations team.
