Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking an HVAC design engineer to conceptualize, design, and implement custom HVAC systems for commercial facilities such as supermarkets, libraries and schools. The role includes supporting Sales with design submittals and analysis of specs, performing psychrometric analyses, and using CAD tools for development.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, develop, and implement HVAC engineering projects for commercial facilities.
• Assist Sales with preliminary design, submittals and analysis of technical specs.
• Perform psychrometric analysis of design requests.
• Develop CAD-based design tasks in engineering/manufacturing using CAD tools.
• Use in-house software for refrigeration system balance.
• Select components and prepare BOMs to enable Purchasing to acquire components.
• Assist Purchasing in supplier selection and qualification of potential suppliers.
• Develop unit sequences of operation and select appropriate DDC components to achieve sequence.
• Provide unit operation sequences to electrical for wiring diagrams.
• Prepare production instructions and troubleshooting guidance to test stations before shipment.
