Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking an HVAC design engineer to conceptualize, design, develop, and implement engineering projects for commercial HVAC equipment used in supermarkets, manufacturing facilities, libraries, schools, and offices.

This role supports Sales with preliminary design, submittals, and analysis of contractor specifications. The engineer will perform psychrometric analysis, use CAD and in-house software for design tasks, and assemble bills of materials for Purchasing.

Qualifications

• Experience performing psychrometric analysis for HVAC design projects.
• Strong ability to design HVAC systems for commercial/industrial applications.
• Ability to evaluate specifications and provide design recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, develop, and implement HVAC engineering projects for commercial and industrial facilities.
• Assist Sales with preliminary design, submittals and analysis of technical specifications.
• Perform psychrometric analysis of design requests.
• Use CAD and in-house tools for design tasks.
• Select components and prepare bills of materials for Purchasing.
• Assist in supplier selection and qualification.
• Develop unit sequences and select DDC components.
• Provide unit operation sequences for wiring diagrams.
• Prepare production instructions for testing before shipment.
