Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling in Milwaukee seeks an HVAC Project Coordinator to manage mechanical construction projects from handoff through closeout. The role requires schedule coordination, cost control, field coordination, and client communication to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of HVAC project coordination experience, strong Procore and MS Project skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects across Milwaukee,

Qualifications

• 1+ year of construction project coordination experience in HVAC, mechanical, or related trades.
• Experience managing projects in the $500K-$5M+ range.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to help manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, MS Project, or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Position Overview

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical construction practices.
• Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with multi-family, commercial, K–12, municipal, or hospitality projects is appreciated.
• Experience with public-sector and prevailing wage projects is a plus.
• Design-build or design-assist experience is appreciated.
• PMP, LEED, or similar certifications is a plus.
• Based out of our Grafton, WI office.
• Supports projects in the Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay metro areas.
