Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Michigan seeks an HVAC Performance Engineer to ensure vehicle functional objectives are met, lead testing and reporting, and drive issue resolution with the Product team.

You will coordinate reviews of functional systems, work with lab engineers, drive plans for aero/thermal attributes, and support DVP&R reporting, with occasional interaction with exterior styling studio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Chauffeur’s License or willingness and ability to get one (Good to Have)
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job description

The HVAC Performance Engineer will ensure that vehicle functional objectives are achieved and will recommend actions to the Product team. The selected candidate will conduct reviews of functional systems (simulation and testing), HVAC systems status with program chiefs, development test planning with lab engineers, and annual hot trip execution for assigned programs. The Engineer will also lead the communications and reporting of issues which include status updates and driving issue resolution! The HVAC Performance Engineer will be responsible for proactive planning and tracking of vehicle validation, active support of aero/thermal attributes, and DVP&R test and reporting! The engineer will occasionally be required to interact with members of the exterior styling studio.

Required Skills:
