Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking an IS Mechanical Designer II to design mechanical systems and components for diverse projects in the energy infrastructure field. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to develop high-level concepts and ensure design documents meet project objectives.

This role requires an Associate degree, 2-4 years' experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT, and the ability to work under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC Technology, Building Systems Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2-4 years' experience with building construction, especially mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or automatic temperature controls.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with project managers, engineers and contractors to create unique high-level concepts and designs for all assigned projects.
• Works closely with the team to ensure the successful execution of goals of all assigned projects.
• Conducts field surveys to identify existing equipment types and system capabilities.
• Produces design documents including drawings, system flow diagrams and architecture, wiring diagrams, construction details, and equipment scheduling.
• Delivers concepts and designs according to strict project deadlines.
• Contributes to all areas of the creative process and department.
• Performs work under direct supervision.
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Assist with the development of technical reports or related documents.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to team members.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
