Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions is seeking a Summer Intern in Florida to apply academic knowledge on real projects from concept to construction. You will work under mentorship from experienced engineers, focusing on HVAC and plumbing system drafting and modeling.

The internship runs mid-May to August 2027 with full-time (40 hours/week); flexible hybrid schedule allowing up to 3 days from home, and potential part-time continuation after summer based on performance.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering.
• Desire to pursue a career in engineering consulting.
• Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) from May through August 2027.
• Computer software knowledge or ability to learn, as appropriate (Revit, IES VE, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Apply academic education to assigned tasks on real projects from concept to completion of construction.
• Mentorship from experienced engineers to learn Revit drafting/modeling and HVAC/plumbing system design.
