Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembler for heavy mechanical assembly, building wall and roof sheet metal panels and installing internal HVAC components. Candidates will read drawings, use hand and power tools, and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include aligning parts, inspecting against specifications, and using hoists or ladders to assemble units at various heights. This role offers a contract-to-hire pathway with steady production work.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling metal components in manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret drawings and blueprints for material needs and sequencing.
• Comfort using ladders, hoists, and lifting platforms in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Position, align, and trim parts to form complete units using jigs and hand tools.
• Check parts against specifications with rulers and tapes.
• Move and assemble metal parts with hoists and equipment.
• Install HVAC-related components and sheet metal parts per plans.
• Read engineering drawings to determine material requirements and sequence.
• Maintain safety and quality while working at heights.
