Piedmont Service Group is seeking a Level III HVAC Mechanic in North Carolina to independently perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and complex repairs across a range of HVAC/R systems. HVAC Mechanic, Level III
The HVAC Mechanic, Level III, is responsible for independently performing routine preventive and predictive maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, and complex repairs on a broad range of HVAC/R systems. This role requires advanced working knowledge of mechanical and controls systems, including pneumatic and DDC controls, and proficiency with VRF, hydronic, VAV, constant volume, VFD, CRAC, and DX systems.
The Level III Mechanic works primarily with DX equipment components, including electrical, refrigeration, gas systems, VAV/mixing boxes, fan boxes, and pumps. This position actively seeks out technical information to support accurate diagnostics and system optimization, strictly follows all required safety protocols, and provides mentorship and technical guidance to Level I and Level II HVAC Mechanics.
