LAUKOA in Charleston, SC is seeking an HVAC Mechanic I to assist with maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems at the FLETC Charleston facility. You will support senior technicians to ensure safe, efficient operation and gain hands-on diagnostics experience.
Qualifications include 1–3 years in HVAC service, EPA 608 certification, and proficiency with Trane Tracer Summit or similar controllers. OSHA safety standards apply; heavy lifting and travel may be required.

Assist with the maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems across the FLETC Charleston facility. As LAUKOA’s HVAC Mechanic I, you will support senior technicians in ensuring heating, cooling, and ventilation systems operate safely and efficiently while gaining hands‑on experience in troubleshooting and system diagnostics.

$28.07 per hour + $5.09 (H&W) per hour = $33.16 per hour (Salary may be negotiable and may be increased based on relevant experience and qualifications.)

Work hours are 0700-1600 with availability to be on call outside of work hours.
