Merrimack Health in Methuen, MA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support hospital facilities by planning, constructing, installing, repairing and servicing buildings and equipment. The role operates under supervision to ensure safety and reliability of critical systems.

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
• Certification/ Licensure: n/a
• Experience: Three to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsabilidades

• Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner to reflect the highest integrity of the Engineering Department
• Assists in maintaining HVAC controls and associated equipment to maximize efficiency levels in all environmentally controlled areas.
• Performs urgent corrective, routine and requisitioned repairs of minor problems with the electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems as required. Notifies lead engineer if major repairs are required.
• Performs maintenance on equipment and systems as required.
• Performs maintenance duties to all physical structures of the facility and complies with all building safety codes. This is to include facility equipment and associated controls.
• Assists in replacing, repairing and testing electrical circuits, equipment, appliances and lighting systems as required.
• Maintains routine records of all inspections, maintenance and repairs performed on any equipment or system.
• Performs manual duties as requested (i.e., moving supplies or furniture, replacing light bulbs, removing trash or scrap material).
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of how to use and maintain plant tools and equipment.

Position Summary:

Under general supervision of the Engineering Supervisor or designee and according to established procedures, performs various duties to plan, construct, install, repair and service tasks on hospital buildings and equipment.
