Mohegan Sun, Inc. is seeking a skilled Hvac Mechanic to repair and maintain air handlers, exhaust and supply fans, and related equipment on site in Uncasville, CT.

The role requires diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems, testing electrical circuits, and installing thermostats and timers. Qualified candidates will have four years in HVAC, CT licensure (S-2/D-2 or higher) with Type 1 and 2 refrigerant recovery certs, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

  • Four years of HVAC trade experience is required.
  • Must possess and maintain an active CT State HVAC license S-2, D-2 or above.
  • Must hold Type 1 and Type 2 refrigerant recovery certification.
  • Must be able to read and work from blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Repairs and maintains air handlers, exhaust and supply fans and their equipment.
  • Troubleshoots repairs and maintains refrigeration equipment and systems.
  • Tests electrical circuits and components for continuity with electrical test equipment.
  • Installs, connects and adjusts thermostats, humidistats and timers.
  • Assembles, positions and mounts heating or cooling equipment following blueprints.
