HVAC Maintenance Technician — Day Shift

Job summary

ABM Industries seeks a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install HVAC and related equipment in our facilities. You will coordinate day-to-day activities on assigned agreements or projects to ensure contractual commitments are met on time and within budget.

This full-time role is based in Honolulu, Hawaii, with a day shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend and evening overtime may be required by the client.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license.
• High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts
• Handle heavy workload of calls
• Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return
• Manage workload and job scheduling
• Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork
• Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs)
• Keep manager informed of customer feedback
• Communicate effectively and promptly
• Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team
• Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company
• When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups
• Report team performance issues to the Supervisor
